Backed by extensive infra structure, the department of Paediatric and Neonatal surgery has established itself at par with metro centers and employs modern techniques and safety measures for best results. Surgeries ranging from simple herniotomies to complex tracheo esophageal fistula repairs are done with excellent results. All congenital anomalies and most common pediatric surgical problems like Hirschsprungs', Anorectal anomalies, small bowel atresia, malrotation of gut, pyloric stenosis and intussusception are managed effectively with good results.
Pediatric laparoscopic surgery is done routinely at our institution for conditions like appendicitis, perforative and primary peritonitis and undescended testes as well as thoracoscopic decortication for chronic empyema thoracis.
