The department of Nephrology functions with a full complement of infrastructure needed both for diagnosis and treatment of renal disorders such as Acute & chronic nephritis Connective tissue disorders such as SLE and other renal problems like
Acute & chronic renal failure Nephrotic syndrome Secondary hypertension Diabetic nephropathy etc., and is well supported by an ultra modern laboratory. The department has a hemodialysis unit, which has all monitoring and life support systems. The department has also embarked on a renal transplant programme.
